Associate Professor Peta-Ann Teague is a General Practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She has held senior academic leadership roles at James Cook University and played a key role in the development of pharmacist prescribing education.

Dr Paula Heggarty

Co-Founder


Associate Professor Paula Heggarty has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and medical education in North Queensland. Her work focuses on clinical reasoning, assessment, and the training of healthcare professionals in rural and regional settings.

Dr John Smithson

Co-Founder


Associate Professor John Smithson is a prescribing pharmacist and registered nurse with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He leads Australia’s first pharmacist prescribing program at James Cook University and continues to practise clinically while advancing pharmacist scope of practice education.
