Contraception Consultations

This small-group, facilitated session is designed to strengthen how you approach contraception consults in real clinical practice.

Working through deidentified, real-world cases, you’ll move beyond theory and focus on how decisions are actually made in the moment. The session is built to improve your clinical reasoning, consultation skills, and safe prescribing through structured discussion and peer learning.

You’ll explore key areas including initiation, switching methods, and providing continuity of care, as well as managing common concerns and patient preferences. There is a strong focus on patient-centred decision making, helping you navigate consults with greater clarity and confidence.

With a maximum of 10 participants, this format allows for deeper discussion, practical feedback, and the opportunity to reflect on your own approach to consultations.

This is not a passive webinar. You’ll be expected to engage, contribute, and apply your thinking throughout the session.
